1967 Volkswagen Beetle
This truly is an extraordinary 1967 Volkswagen, The best year for this car according to most. The car is absolutely rust free and has been restored to nearly perfect original condition. Nearly $12,000.00 in receipts accompany the cars restoration. Only 1,000 miles have been put on the car since its completion. The only non-original part of the restoration is the seat covers, the owner having opted for cloth rather than vinyl due to heat. The seat covers are easily replaced for very little money. It is believed that the mileage on the car is correct in that some earlier documentation comes with the car. The restoration consisted of: Complete disassembly of the car for paint, inside and out. New headliner. New carpets and pads. New door panels Re-chromed front and rear bumpers. Powder coated wheels to correct color, all five New tires New running boards. New ball joints, tie rod ends, and seals. Rebuilt transaxle Rebuilt engine. Rebuilt carburetor. All new door seals, body seals, window channels, etc. New Battery. Rear pop out windows. New clutch, pressure plate Flywheel resurfaced. New axle seals and boots. New shocks. New hubcaps. This car shows as new! Welcome back to 1967!
