This 1956 Mercury Monterey is a one owner car and originally sold in Hollywood California. The car was the subject of a complete 2 year restoration in 2000. The car is equipped with a 430 cubic inch V8 that has been rebuilt using Lincoln internals and the displacement was increased to 462 cubic inches. The interior, exterior and chassis have all been restored to factory original. The chrome and paint are fantastic. What is unique, rather unlike most Mercury's from the 50s the bodywork is original to the car, never chopped channeled or frenched. The car is arrow straight. This thing is a rocket but appears bone stock. The car has only 63,900 original miles and looks and drives as such. It is a great car for show or go.
