1954 FORD CRESTLINE
The very well known Ford flathead V-8 was honorably retired in 1954 in favor of a new overhead-valve "Y-Block V-8 (so called because of it's frontal appearance in cross-section). With 130 horsepower this was easily the year's hottest engine in the low priced field. Together with ball-joint front suspension, also new, the Y-Block greatly narrowed the gap between expensive and inexpensive cars. This stunning 1954 Crestline Sunliner Convertible finished in Bright Red with matching red and white interior is ready for cruising and showing. Equipped with a 230 cu. inch V-8 producing 130 horsepower and three-speed "Fordomatic" automatic transmission, power top, power steering. power brakes, power windows, power seat, working AM radio and "Continental Kit" style trunk lid. This car proudly sports vintage 1954 California license plates which are registered to the car and comes with it's original owner's manual and Ford repair manual. A classic 1950's Ford convertible that you are sure not to see at every car show!!
